Like, say she's done something sort of wrong and I ask her not to, instead of responding with words she'll make strange noises. I think she's afraid of making me angry, and so she acts out in these ways in an attempt to deflect that. I'm sure that being silly is a great way to deflect any conflict with her fellow preschoolers. I've tried explaining to her that if I'm upset, trying to make me laugh isn't the best choice, but she truly doesn't seem to get it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
